Avoid Arizona DUI Car Accidents: The Ignition Interlock Device
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), DUI offenders will have to drive with an ignition interlock device, which is installed on the dashboard and requires the driver to exhale into it before the car can be started. If the device detects alcohol, the engine won’t start. The device reportedly leads to a 40 to 95 percent reduction in DUI driving offenses.
