Lawyers Pitching In To Help Arizona's Education Budget Deficit, Have Some Fun
Husband and Wife Law Team offering contest to enter your child's teacher in the "Best Teacher Contest of 2009" and win over $500 in prizes!
It is no secret that the economy is suffering and public education may take the biggest hit of all. While hard-working people are getting laid off and struggling to pay their bills, teachers do not have enough money in the budget, in some districts, to even have paper to use for teaching materials. To offer a little deviation from this bleak economic and educational outlook, one law firm is offering a free contest to get some money to a teacher and an Arizona family, as well as to give one lucky class a pizza party to end the school year.
Although Alexis and Mark Breyer of Breyer Law Offices, known throughout Arizona as "The Husband and Wife Law Team, created this unique, fun contest. Any Arizona resident can nominate an Arizona school teacher as "The Best Teacher of 2009." For parents who have children who are in school, they can nominate a teacher for each one of their children. All entries will be put in a hat on May 1, 2009 and a winner will be chosen. The deadline to enter is April 30, 2009. The person who submitted the winning entry will receive $250.00 for nominating the teacher, the teacher will receive $250.00 that can be used for any purpose, including the purchase of much needed education materials, and Breyer Law Offices will throw a pizza party for that child's classroom (up to $50 worth of pizza) during the last couple weeks of the school year. The top 5 teachers (by votes placed) will also be recognized on Breyer Law's website on May 1, 2009 along with the winner of the contest.
