Award winning injury lawyer Mark Breyer, of the Husband and Wife Law Team, has been given the prestigious honor of being selected for inclusion in 2012 Arizona Super Lawyers®.
Being selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers is an honor that many experienced injury lawyers never receive in their entire career. The Super Lawyers rating service announced the 2012 inductees, including accident injury Attorney Mark Breyer.
What is the Process to be Named a Super Lawyer?
There are three phases of the process that concludes with an annual reveal of the new additions to the list. The first phase is the creation of the nominee pool. Nominations are submitted by peers and are backed by a system to prevent “black hat” tactics that could spoil a batch of candidates. A team of researchers are also given the task of seeking out attorneys who exemplify themselves as leaders in their fields and have spotless reputations.
From the candidate pool, each attorney is evaluated based on twelve areas that indicate an attorney's true level of success and recognition among peers. They vary from case verdicts to certifications, community service, and outside awards, among many other things. Attorney Mark Breyer has also been inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a group of attorneys nationwide that have proven case results of a million dollars or more, for his successful case results. Mark also possesses numerous other recognitions for his reputation as an expert injury lawyer, such as Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Association of Trial Lawyers, Top 5 Injury Lawyer by North Valley Magazine, and a Specialist in injury law by the State Bar of Arizona, a distinction that approximately 1% of attorneys in all of Arizona have. The third step in the process of selecting a Super Lawyer for inclusion is the "blue ribbon review." Attorneys from each practice area with the highest points so far in the process are invited to be on blue ribbon panels, and they rate the other candidates within the same practice area.
Finally, candidates are grouped according to firm size and research confirms that no poor conduct has even been reported about the attorneys, and the list is released.
Is Being Selected for Inclusion as a Super Lawyer Really Any Different?
If you were looking for a brain surgeon to do an invasive, intensive operation, wouldn't you want them to be the best in their specialty? You wouldn't want to go to your family physician and ask him or her to perform the surgery. Why wouldn't you want the same thing in an attorney?
