Personal injury attorneys, Mark and Alexis Breyer, of the Husband And Wife Law Team, are pleased to announce the winner of September’s Teacher Appreciation award.
For the second month in a row, it goes to another very deserving teacher at Kyrene de los Cerritos Elementary School, Ms. Linda Wolf!
Assistant Principal, Sarah Collins helped set up the surprise presentation in front of Ms. Wolf’s entire kindergarten class! Phoenix personal injury lawyer Mark Breyer presented her with a $250 gift card and plaque for her classroom. Ms. Wolf’s class will also receive a pizza party complimentary of Peter Piper Pizza!
Nominations for Ms. Wolf poured in from parents, community members and teachers alike. Countless reviews praised Ms. Wolf’s teaching skills, classroom management ability, and first-rate communication with parents.
One parent shared that Ms. Wolf "is incredibly hands on with her kindergarteners, she individualizes her teaching so that students are not bored or feel left behind. Ms. Wolf recognizes what children need to succeed!"
Another parent shared, "As a former teacher I have high respect for Ms. Wolf, she is a natural born teacher and makes it look so easy." All of the nominators recognized Ms. Wolf’s excellent communication skills and praised her ability to get her students excited about coming to school everyday.
Out of Their Own Pockets
The National School Supply and Equipment Association (NSSEA), a trade association for education product companies, found the total out of pocket amount spent by teachers in the U.S. totaled over $1.33 billion dollars for the 2009-2010 school year.
According to a 2010 study by the NSSEA, 92 percent of teachers reported spending their own money on classroom supplies and instructional materials.
"Being able to give back to Arizona teachers is so rewarding because it really just comes right back around through the students they are molding through their classes. We are excited that this program is raising awareness about teacher appreciation while also helping teachers and the community," shared Alexis Breyer.
