Under Arizona law, a property owner is not automatically responsible for any injury that happens on their property. This is one of the biggest misconceptions when it comes to personal injury law. In the situation where that property owner or the person occupying the property knew or should have known of an unreasonably dangerous condition that causes an injury, they may well be held responsible under the law.
However, trying to prove whether or not a condition is unreasonably dangerous, and even more so trying to prove whether or not an owner had knowledge or should have had knowledge of that condition, can be extremely difficult.
