Fairytale Brownies Gives Back in The Most Delicious Way Possible

By Breyer Law Offices on April 6, 2020

We are incredibly excited to once again be chronicling our initiative, Biz Gives, which was created to highlight amazing local businesses doing their part to help people through this time of turbulence, by introducing you all to Fairytale Brownies.

Established in 1992, Fairytale Brownies is a bakery based out of Phoenix. We were thrilled at the opportunity to chat with co-founder David Kravetz. David has family members in the healthcare field and knows just how hard these amazing people have been working to help those suffering the most right now. He and his partner Eileen Spitalny, who is based in San Francisco, have been doing their part to lift the spirits of dedicated essential workers by sending out brownies to various hospitals and senior care centers in the Bay Area, as well as around the Phoenix metro.

David has said that he feels incredibly grateful to be able to remain open. He has a total of 40 employees, half of which are currently working from home, while the other half diligently operate the bakery and sending out delicious brownie gifts.

The bakery has even started to send out “Thinking of You” boxes full of wonderful brownies to friends and family that currently work from home. At the moment, they have sent over 2,000 brownies to healthcare workers and senior centers in order to show appreciation and hopefully make people smile.

The baked goodies aren’t all they send out, however. They’ve also gathered much-needed essentials, such as masks and gloves, to help hospitals with their current battle. These supplies are in high demand, and many healthcare facilities aren’t able to get as many as they realistically need. That’s why David and his team decided to do their part in helping our healthcare professionals. Thus far they have managed to send out over 2,000 masks and 2,000 gloves.

Fairytale Brownies also contributes to a national charity called KaBOOM! that focuses on providing safe and enriching play spaces for children across the nation. David and Eileen first met on a kindergarten playground, so providing children with the wonderful gift of play will always be incredibly important to them.

If you want to learn more about Fairytale Brownies, or you would like to order yourself a tasty box of baked goods, you can visit their website. We would like to thank Fairytale Brownies, as well as David and Eileen, for all their hard work and dedication. We must all come together in this current crisis, and we are proud of this Arizona business for doing their part to help those who need it most.
