Indigo Grille Crowned Seventh HWLT HEART Campaign Winner
It seems as though the HWLT HEART campaign nominations never stop rolling in! It wasn’t too long ago that we began this campaign to help support local Arizona restaurants during these uncertain times, and now we’re already on to our seventh winner. Time certainly flies on by, as do our campaign recipients.
Indigo Grille at Copper Canyon in Buckeye received an astronomical number of nominations. If fact, they were the highest in nominations to date! The patrons of Indigo Grille are clearly big fans of the delicious food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Who could blame them? We’re big fans too!
After finding out they had won the HWLT HEART campaign, the staff of Indigo Grille got right to work. They designed an entirely new, low cost menu called The Three Amigos just for the occasion to make sure that even people in a tight spot financially could enjoy their food.
Once they opened shop on Tuesday, April 28th, the orders came flooding in. The staff were scrambling to keep up and were having the time of their lives! By the end of the day, the restaurant had had their best day for profits since this crisis began and came close to triple the amount they make on an average Tuesday. The staff and owners were thrilled, as were all of the patrons enjoying the incredible food.
Thank you to everyone who sent in a nomination for Indigo Grille and thank you to the incredible staff who worked incredibly hard to pull the day off without a hitch. We hope you got to see just how much Arizona appreciates you and your dedication to delicious food.
