Phoenix Hit-and-Run Crash Leaves Pedestrian in Critical Condition

As Phoenix hit-and-run crash attorneys, we never like to hear about crashes. We are especially saddened when someone is left critically injured and the driver doesn’t stop to help. This was the case on the night of February 19 when a driver struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene, according to reports in Fox 10 News. Our thoughts and prayers are with the pedestrian who is struggling for life, and we also would like to express our support for the family.

Phoenix Hit-and-Run Collisions: The Details and Statistics

There is not a lot of information available about this Phoenix pedestrian collision. However, it is clear that the pedestrian was crossing the road at 20th Street and Osborn when he was hit, and it is also clear that the driver fled the scene of the accident. There were, thankfully, witnesses who identified the car as an older model passenger car, possibly an Oldsmobile. Police will be spending their time reviewing any footage from surrounding surveillance and traffic cameras in order to catch the suspect. In many cases, police do catch hit-and-run drivers. It is always best if the driver turns him- or herself in to avoid further punishment.
