Congratulations to our May Teacher Appreciation Winner: Venessa Solis

With the help of the principal at Glenn L. Downs Elementary School, Vivian Nash, The Husband & Wife Law Team surprised a wonderful and deserving recipient with their monthly Teacher Appreciation Award. Venessa Solis was surprised in front of her students during their lunch hour. Attorney Mark Breyer and the students shockedVenessa as she walked in to the cafeteria during the lunch hour as she was eating a banana. Mark had a check for Venessa in the amount of $250.00, a Teacher Appreciation plaque for her classroom, and a few more surprises! Mark expressed the importance of how much teachers do, but how few of them actually get the recognition they deserve. She was ecstatic and even more surprised when she was told that she would be featured on The Husband and Wifebillboards throughout the Valley for a day. But the surprises didn’t stop there. Not only was she awarded $250.00 and an appreciation plaque, but Mark also rewarded Venessa and all the students and faculty at Glenn L. Downs Elementary, with an ice cream party to celebrate their last day of school.

The incredible Venessa Solis is a teacher at Glenn L. Downs Elementary school where she teaches special education. She is a fantastic mother, wife, and teacher. Sheis loved by all the students and the facility. Without hesitation, she donated a kidney to a person in need that she had never met before. She goes out of her way, in both big and small ways, to help anyone she possibly can.
