Scholarship Overview
For over three decades, The Husband & Wife Law Team has represented residents of the Phoenix area and throughout Arizona and New Mexico. Our firm has a very strong connection to our community, which is why we’re excited to offer not one, not two, but three $2,000 scholarships. One of our winners will be an Arizona high school senior or college student, one will be from New Mexico, and the third will be an applicant from anywhere in the United States.
The Husband & Wife Law Team Scholarship is not only our way to give back to exceptional students, but also to stress the importance of higher education and students being able to follow their dream career path after high school. With college-aged children of their own, Principal attorneys Mark and Alexis Breyer are well aware of today's costs associated with a post-secondary education. That is why the firm is proud to offer scholarship awards to three deserving applicants to help pay a portion of the winners' upcoming college costs. Apply today for your chance to win one of three scholarships!

How would you inspire your peers to put the phone away when behind the wheel? We want to hear your creative ideas for a social media trend, a school-wide challenge, or a new pledge system that makes driving distracted a thing of the past.
Write an essay outlining your unique idea for a creative social media trend, school-wide challenge, or pledge system that would make it 'uncool' to use a phone while driving.

You have maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA.
You are a U.S. Citizen or hold Permanent Residency status. DACA recipients are welcome to apply.
You must complete all entry fields on the application for the scholarship. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Entries that do not meet the word count requirement will not be considered.
Finalists Must Provide
School Transcripts - We may require an official or unofficial transcript from your current educational institution. If we decide your application puts you in contention as a finalist and potential winner of the scholarship, you will be contacted by our firm and given instructions on how to send an electronic version of your official transcript. This will help us to verify that all information provided to us is accurate, and that you meet all of the eligibility requirements. Do not send any transcripts until explicitly requested by the firm.
Current Proof of Enrollment - You will be required to submit upon request an enrollment verification letter, letter of acceptance from a college, or course registration for the coming semester.
Photo ID - We will require a copy of your U.S. driver's license, U.S. state ID card, DACA ID, and/or passport. These are the only acceptable forms of identification to submit to us upon request.
Note: By submitting your application for this scholarship, you agree to use any potential scholarship award for educational purposes only, such as tuition or related expenses such as school supplies, books, course materials, school living expenses, etc. If you win the scholarship or are a finalist, we may share your essay and photo on our website and may use them for marketing purposes.
