Estrella Foothills Global Academy's Ms. Rachel Goes Above and Beyond!
It was such a wonderful experience to surprise special education teacher Ms. Rachel with our December 2025 Teacher of the Month award! Our team arrived at Ms. Rachel’s classroom at Estrella Foothills Global Academy to surprise her, and her students cheered her on as she received her plaque, $500, and the promise of a future pizza party for her entire class. The presentation celebrated Ms. Rachel’s everyday excellence and the lasting impact she makes on Laveen’s youngest learners.
Nominated by a parent, Ms. Rachel was praised for “always going above and beyond,” introducing preschoolers to American Sign Language (ASL), teaching vital subjects, and helping to instill strong values that shape character and community. The nomination also highlighted her exceptional communication with families and the meaningful memories she creates as children transition into kindergarten.
